Food Cart Distribution Programme, Rotary Club of Gauhati South (RCGS), 29th March 2026: RCGS donated 11 food carts to needy beneficiaries, each equipped with 16 essential items including gas stove, utensils and stools to support sustainable livelihood. The Egg & Chicken Push Cart Distribution Programme at Guwahati was a grand success with 30 carts distributed by various Rotary Clubs. The event was graced by Dr. Kameshwar Singh Elangbam, Prabhat Kedia, Valmiki and Dr. Ezhil Kumar, along with AGs Vikash Bajaj, Utpal Gohain, P. D. Choudhury, President Priyama Goswami and Rotarians. Of 50 carts, 30 were distributed in Guwahati, 10 to Imphal, 5 each to Agartala and Shillong. RCGS emerged as the highest donor club in District 3240, reinforcing Rotary’s commitment to “Service Above Self.”
