On the occasion of World Environment Day 2026, the Rotary Club of Gauhati South (RCGS), in association with Save Bharalu (Bharalu Bachao Abhiyan), organized an Art & Drawing Competition on 5th June 2026 at BDS Government Higher Secondary School for the Hearing Impaired, Kahilipara, Guwahati. The programme aimed to promote environmental awareness and encourage students to express their ideas on conservation through art. Competitions were held in three categories based on themes related to a cleaner and greener future. Students participated enthusiastically, showcasing creativity on issues such as environmental protection, sustainable development, and conservation of rivers and forests.
