The 6th Joint Board of Directors Meeting of the Rotary Club of Gauhati South was held on 5th June 2026 at 5:15 PM under the chairmanship of President Rtn. Priyama Goswami. The Board reviewed the club's financial position and noted an available balance of approximately ₹1,50,000. Pending hotel bills and the Udyan bill were discussed, and a proposal to increase club billing by ₹1,000 was approved in principle. The Board resolved to update the President and Secretary's names in the club bank records for the incoming Rotary year. Ongoing projects including the Ambulance, Swargorath and Clock Tower Projects were reviewed. The Board also decided to approach the Chief Secretary of Assam regarding land for RCGS. Membership matters concerning Mr. Sasanka Bhattacharya and Mr. Apurbo Mishra were noted. Plans for Village RYLA, RCC activities and the Doctors' Day programme at Sun Valley Hospital on 1st July 2026 were discussed. The meeting concluded at 6:25 PM with a vote of thanks to the Chair.
