RI Zone-6 TRF Symposium, 19th Sept 2025, Siliguri – Rtn. Paramesh Dev ChoudhuryThe first Zone-6 TRF Symposium in RI-3240 was hosted by all Rotary Clubs of Siliguri, covering 10 districts from Bhutan, Eastern India, and Nepal. The event was graced by Trustee Chair PRIP Holger Knaack (Germany) and Trustee PRID Dr. Bharat Pandya (India). After the national anthems of Germany, Nepal, Bhutan, and India, RRFC Dr. Debasish Das presented an informative TRF overview, followed by a Polio Plus update by PDG Uttam Ganguly. Awards were presented, including RI-3240 receiving the ‘Annual Fund Early Achiever Award.’ Cultural performances were interspersed. Representing RCGS, I presented Phoolam Gamocha and my book Insights Into Rotary to the dignitaries. A total of 188 participants attended, including 6 from Guwahati. The program concluded with fellowship and dinner at Courtyard Marriott under PDG Rtn. Subhasish Chatterjee’s leadership.
