On 5th October 2025, the Rotary Club of Gauhati South, in association with Save Bharalu, organized a Cultural Boat Rally at 7:30 AM on the Bharalu River, covering the route from Jonali to Rajgarh and back.Several Rotarians actively participated in the programme, including Rtn. Dr. R.N. Mazumder, Rtn. Dr. Indira Bardoloi, Rtn. Atanu Kumar Chowdhury, and Rtn. Jyoti Das. In addition, more than 21 members of Save Bharalu and local residents witnessed and took part in the event.The programme received extensive media coverage, highlighting the community’s efforts to promote cultural and environmental awareness.
