Rotary Club of Gauhati South Donates Food Cart to Thalassaemia Patient.Guwahati, October 14, 2025: The Rotary Club of Gauhati South (RCGS), under its Thalassaemia Project, donated a food cart near Gauhati High Court, Judges Field, to a young mother battling Thalassaemia and struggling to support her daughter.Club President Rtn. Priyama Goswami, along with Anne Kalpana Bordoloi and the Thalassaemia Committee, provided all essential utensils and items to help her start her small business. The project was supported by senior Rotarians including Rtn. Minoti Barthakur, Rtn. Manjusri Baruah, Rtn. Renu Goswami, Rtn. Indira Bardoloi, Rtn. Anurekha Barkakoti, and Mr. Bhishan Rai.This initiative highlights RCGS’s ongoing commitment to compassion, empowerment, and community service.
