Rotary Club of Gauhati South Observes World Polio Day.On 24th October 2025, the Rotary Club of Gauhati South, along with other Guwahati-based Rotary Clubs, observed World Polio Day at Shraddhanjali Kanan, Zoo Road, through an early morning “End Polio Now” awareness programme.The event featured a walkathon led by Rotarians carrying club banners to engage morning walkers and spread awareness about Rotary’s global mission to eradicate polio. PDG Prabhat Kedia addressed the gathering, highlighting Rotary’s decades-long efforts and the need to sustain vaccination drives until polio is fully eliminated.The programme, coordinated by President Rtn. Priyama Goswami, saw enthusiastic participation from members of multiple clubs, reaffirming Rotary’s commitment to a polio-free world.
