On 14th November 2025, the Rotary Club of Gauhati South celebrated Children’s Day at Lokapriya Bordoloi Vidyalaya ME School, Gosala, Maligaon, Guwahati. The celebration was filled with enthusiasm as the students showcased a variety of performances. Four Class 5 students delivered an impressive narration on the history of the Kamakhya Temple as well as the heritage of Hunitpur, reflecting their knowledge and confidence.Other students presented vibrant cultural programmes, displaying their talents in dance and music. A special moment of the event was when the children sang songs by Zubeen Garg, offering a heartfelt tribute to the beloved artist, which added emotional depth to the celebration.Rtn. Manjusri, President Rtn. Priyama Goswami, and spouse Mr. Bhishan Rai joined the children in their festivities, interacting warmly with them and appreciating their performances. Their presence brought joy to the young students, making the occasion even more memorable.
