Tree Plantation Drive by Rotary Club of Gauhati South Guwahati, July 20, 2025 — The Rotary Club of Guwahati South, in collaboration with Save Bharalu Abhiyan and Faguna Rabha High School, organized a successful tree plantation drive at the schools Jaya Kahilipara Road campus.Over 50 varieties of fruit-bearing and medicinal plants were planted to promote ecological awareness and enhance green cover. The event saw active participation from Rotary members, Save Bharalu Abhiyan, school staff, students, and young members of the Rotary family.Led by President Rtn Priyama Goswami and other dignitaries, the initiative highlighted the power of community collaboration in fostering environmental responsibility.School authorities and Rotarians pledged to nurture the saplings, ensuring the drive’s long-term impact. The event ended on a cheerful note with refreshments and shared commitment to a greener future.
