Overview
As part of the club’s Club Service initiative to promote fellowship and cultural awareness, a special segment was organized to celebrate Bhogali Bihu, Assam’s harvest festival. The program began with a brief and insightful talk by Rtn. Bani Kanta Das, who highlighted the cultural significance, traditions, and values of gratitude, togetherness, and community bonding associated with Bhogali Bihu. This helped members gain a deeper appreciation of the festival and its role in preserving local heritage. To make the session engaging, a Bhogali Bihu Quiz was conducted by Rtn. P. D. Choudhury, generating enthusiasm and active participation, with ten prizes awarded. The highlight was the traditional Koni Juj (Egg Fight), conducted by Rtn. Dipak Bhagawati, which brought joy and laughter. Rtn. Dipak Bhagawati emerged as the first winner. Overall, the segment strengthened unity, camaraderie, and fellowship while celebrating Assam’s rich culture.
